Mercury in Pisces in the Seventh House

If you cannot make peace with this tension and learn to use it to your benefit, the result will often be a frustration for yourself and others, with issues centering on the indefiniteness of your mental and communicative processes. On the other hand, if you can mentally adjust to the  Piscean environment, then this will open up a whole new world of experience for you and your mental and communicative powers will be enhanced by the flexibility,  agility, and unlimitedness that you are free to explore.

As an individual with Mercury in the 7th House, you are likely to enjoy the communication involved in relationships, especially when others respond favorably to your communications and to your mental energy. You may, therefore, be quite active in forming and carrying on relationships with a variety of people. You are likely to enjoy people due to the mental stimulation that they provide you.

Having Mercury in the 7th House, your thoughts may dwell on your actual or potential relationships with others. If you become too mentally involved, you may become overly analytical or critical of your relationships. You may also suffer from worry over your relationships.  With Mercury in the 7th House, you may also be vulnerable to your thoughts and perceptions being influenced by your relation partner(s) or even by those with whom you come in contact. The thought of wanting to please other people may become too dominant, to the extent that you lose your independence of mind or say things you really don’t believe in because you want others to think well of you.

Your thoughts will dwell too much on the reactions that others have to you and you worry about this constantly. This may make you cautious or reluctant to communicate to others or you may say only what you think others want to hear. Because of your own insecurities about your self-worth, you may assume that others think ill of you. This may lead you to adopt a highly critical attitude towards others as a defense mechanism. In this, you are merely responding in-kind to the attitudes that you assume others express toward you. When your negative attitudes go beyond just thinking, you may become verbally abusive.
