The placement of Jupiter in Aries indicates that you are inclined toward an assertive mode of expansiveness. This may manifest as a tendency to enthusiastically charge ahead. Much of the behavior and many of the personality characteristics associated with Jupiter in Aries are a result of your need to act and assert yourself in order to actualize your expansive energies.

En Júpiter in Aries, you tend to understand the world and humanity’s place in it in terms of action and, particularly, the action that you yourself take. Perceiving a world dominated by action generally conditions you to move forward and outward in order to explore the world and gain from it what you may. As an individual with Jupiter in Aries, by acting and asserting yourself, you form your concepts and construct a worldview for yourself.

The placement of Jupiter in Aries is usually harmonious. This is symbolized by the natural trine between Aries and Jupiter-ruled Sagitario. Aries is the Cardinal Fire sign. The active fire of Aries symbolically gives a constant impetus to the expansive energies associated with Jupiter. These energies are, thus, fueled and directed, with the only danger being that the functions and energies associated with Jupiter receive too much stimulation from the Aries fire.

Inseguridades

With Jupiter in Aries, you may feel a constant demand to begin something new and an excessive urge to validate your selfhood. The expansive energy represented by Jupiter symbolically magnifies those existential insecurities that are associated with Aries. In reality, you are being prompted to face your insecurities but, instead, you would like to distract yourself from confronting them through action and pursuing the “good life.” Having Jupiter in Aries, you are unwilling to wait for the natural arrival of things, fearing in your insecurity that good things will never come to you unless you take them. You may also have the feeling that you will lose your opportunity if something is not had or experienced immediately. This need for immediate gratification or enjoyment is born of your need to feel that everything is all right all the time.

For those who place a high value on material possessions, Jupiter in the 2nd House is often interpreted as a fortunate placement. Jupiter in the 2nd House may indicate that you enjoy an abundancia of possessions and resources and this contributes to your sense of physical security. You may perceive your physical and material needs as extensive. Given this, you may focus on accumulating wealth and possessions and, therefore, possess material comfort in abundance. Or, you may assume, optimistically, that your material needs will be met and this positive attitude naturally leads you to accumulate material abundance. It may also be the case that you are, in-deed, blessed with an abundance of resources that, upon being properly used and managed, result in material comfort.

Having Jupiter in the 2nd Casa, there is, of course, the karmic possibility that you will not enjoy material abundance in your life. In this case, you may have several possible reactions. You can become extremely dissatisfied and frustrated, yearning constantly for more than you have and bending your energies to accumulate the wealth of the material world. With Jupiter in the 2nd House, a more positive alternative is that you become content with what you have.  Even if you are not wealthy by society’s standards, you feel that you have all that you need, that you are materially secure and comfortable and could want nothing more. You are happy in your material circumstance.

En la medida en que se sienta rico o materialmente cómodo, sentirá un bienestar abundante. Si se enfrenta a la pobreza o a dificultades materiales, es probable que su sensación de bienestar se vea amenazada o sea difícil de mantener. La sociedad inculca esta actitud y este conjunto de valores de forma tan efectiva que puede resultar difícil ver esto como un rasgo de Júpiter en la Casa 2, a menos que sea por una cuestión de grado.

Con Júpiter en la Casa 2, si puede separarse de los condicionamientos de la sociedad, puede encontrar una sensación de bienestar a través de la adhesión a ciertos valores que considera buenos y verdaderos.
