Having Mars in the 11th House, the scope of your activity can range from involvement in clubs and other social groups to broad involvement in civic affairs, social causes or even world affairs. Generally, you may feel that you need to make a difference in the world, or your community, and, therefore, you must take action that extends beyond yourself and your own concerns.

With Mars in the 11th House, your actions will also tend to be future-oriented, or designed to have an impact that outlasts yourself. The group, or whatever organization or cause provides you with outward extension, may become a vehicle for propelling and motivating your active energy. In this way, you become more energized and able to accomplish things.

You have very little authentic individual identity and you, therefore, take your identity from your group involvement and from how others see you. With Mars in the 11th House, you may act on behalf of the group, generally as its leader or jockeying for a leadership position, but you are really acting on your own behalf. All of your protestations of good will and concern for others are just that. You would really not do anything to benefit anyone unless it did you some good. Your actions never go against the group’s will, for you could not stand to fall out of favor with the group.
